Lost Planet was released back in 2007 and I picked up the title as it was getting great accolades from the friends and various media outlets. Well fast forward to 2009, I’ve matured as gamer and learned to love to genres of games so I figured it was time to go back and play Lost Planet and finish the game since the sequel is coming out.
Basically Lost Planet takes place on the planet of E.D.N III in the year T...

Well it’s been over a very long time since my lastblog post, today’s entry won’t entirely be focused on video gaming since a lot has happen since May. At approximately 9:30 am on May 12th 2009 I was called into an office and was laid off. Almost 4 years at the Hudson’s Bay Company, I was escorted off the property and given a cab ride home. My initial thoughts were I was terrified and scared because we are in a recession and the economy completely su...

There was contest recently on Xbox.ca Canada Community forums that had 3 volunteers live their day-to-day lives and achieve 1400 achievement points. Forum goers were asked to pick one of the 3 users, who they thought would get to the 1400 points first. Instead, we all raced to 1400 points. The contest ...

1 Vs 100 Preview Event
On Tuesday May 5th 2009, I had the chance to preview the upcoming 1 vs. 100 interactive game show, coming to Xbox live sometime this spring. There were plenty of media members and even a few lucky community members were able to be at the event. The day started with the showing of the 1 VS 100 official trailer, followed by a speech by Glenn Purkis, from Xbox Canada and Jo Clowes, Director of Development. They briefly explained what we were going to see in today’s previ...

Snowblind Map Pack
The Gears of War team at Epic, has been really busy lately. They have released title update number 3 as well as the new Snowblind Map Pack for 800 MS points. The 4 maps included are Underhill, Grindyard, Fuel Depot and Courtyard.
First up from Gears of War 1 remade and updated for Gears of War 2 is Fuel Depot. This is basically the same map from GoW with a few changes, right away you’ll notice the map is now covered in snow. Secondly, there are a few added cars through...

Teh Good:
Cruising around town causing havoc and crashes, how isn’t that fun
Free updates, man Criterion really does support their game
Online play is seamless and adds another layer to this game
Teh Bad:
More Variety in race modes
Why is Avril Lavigne in this sound track? Like seriously!
I would prefer is the game didn’t take forever to start up at the beginning. I do not need to go my junk yard and see all the new cars at the start-up of the game. It’s quite annoying.
For $20...
