Launch Day – Fallout 3
If you're a fan of Sinnix's comics, like we here at tehflakes, perhaps you noticed a familiar name in today's comic: WORST FALLOUT 3 VAULTS (AS DECIDED BY FANS)
Big thanks to Jeff for letting me post this on our site. CLICK HERE for the full comic and the remaining 2 (even funnier) "worst vaults ever imagined".
Speaking of Fallout 3, today is launch day! In fact, you're probably not even reading this until a week from now. I'll be picking up my copy as soon as I finish Fable 2. Havi...
Portal: Still Alive
GLaDOS returns! On Wednesday, October 22, Xbox LIVE Arcade will be launching the newest iteration of Portal, aptly named Portal: Still Alive.
According to the official word from Microsoft, Aperture Science still needs you. Now, before you get too excited, no, this is not the sequel we've all been anticipating. Nor is it the cleverly designed prequel that was released for PC versions of the game. Portal: Still Alive contains all the original maps from Portal on the Orange Box wi...

CAPCOM, the Ultimate Rancher: A Rant
Guest post by Ophidion.
I’ll first start off by saying, I love CAPCOM. In terms of third party developers, they’re one of the best. From Dead Rising all the way back to Super Puzzle Fighter, they’ve got a great catalogue of games. More specifically, they’ve got an excellent stable of franchises from which they will glean many, many more millions of dollars (a little game called Resident Evil 5 comes out 2009). Not only that but with the advent of digital distribution they can ...
Harmonix to the Rescue! RB 2 Fix in the Works.
Yesterday, in bullet 4, I referred to a deblitating Rock Band 2 glitch that could effectively wipe out your entire band. Well, it's received a lot of press and Harmonix is now on board. People are complaining that Harmonix took a long time to respond, but in actuality, they have been working on this since September 17th (at least).
According to hmxsean, Harmonix is "dedicating a lot of resources into trying to find a good repro case" for the bug. That being said, he also mentions that...
The Hottest News (from last week – sorry)
Okay, so last week's news might not be the best way to start a week, but lots went on last week that I didn't get a chance to cover. Without further ado, here are the stories that piqued my interest last week:
Nintendo is doing Karaoke right on the Wii. Joysound will provide online subscriptions to millions of songs rather than individually downloaded tracks. Japan only for now. If this comes to North America, I'll get tons more use out of my dust collector Wii.
Speaking of Ninte...
